On Reopening…..

We cannot wait to open our doors and welcome you all back to Winteringham Fields once we are able to do so. Whilst the safety of our guests and team have always been a priority, in the current situation we face it has never been more important. We have been working hard to maintain our dining experience whilst still being the same warm welcoming, relaxed atmosphere you all know and love.

Given the nature of the restaurant, being placed inside an old farm house, we have the beauty of having many spacious lounges, restaurants, garden terraces and a private dining room. Which will allow us to comply with social distancing rules and other PHE (Public Health England) regulations, much more successfully than other restaurants.

In order to create a safe environment for our guests and team to return to, you will expect to see some new safety measures across all areas, including (but not limited to): 

• Enhancing our already high policies and training for our team in regards to hygiene, self health checks, and temperature monitoring before starting work.
• Following the advice from PHE in relation to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Enhancing our cleaning schedule in all communal areas including toilets, lounges, dining areas and bar.
• Guests will be asked to arrive promptly on time to avoid over crowding in the lounges.
• Guests will be asked to remain outside reception until greeted to ensure social distancing rules are maintained.
• Introducing a 'No Handshake Policy'.
• Installing hand sanitising stations for guests at all entrances and toilet facilities.
• Changing the restaurant layout by spacing tables at least 2M apart in line with social distancing measures.
• Looking at staff rota's to reduce the amount of staff in a given area.
• The capacity of the entire building will be reduced as we await the guidelines on this.
• Encouraging our guests to pay using card rather than cash.
