Deemed the culinary event of the year, last week’s 2019 Michelin Guide announcement saw a number of dining establishments across the UK - aside from Winteringham Fields - celebrate some fabulous, new, 1-star Michelin titles!
With the Michelin Guide awards having traditionally been dominated by venues within the country’s capital, quite notably, this year saw a rise in establishments outside the London region gain recognition. It was both heartening and refreshing to learn that of the 21 newly credited 1-star restaurants, 15 were earned by dining establishments outside of London.
We feel incredibly proud to have contributed to this highly privileged list, and are delighted that Lincolnshire is part of the celebration. We believe our Michelin title is testament to a wealth of talent the local region has to offer.
Rebecca Burr, Director of the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland, remarked that this year’s results were indicative of the “ever-evolving culinary scene” across the broader nation.
